Odd question: If there's a fire, how do you get kids younger than 3 down a fire ladder in a two/three story house?

First time mom of an 18mo and naturally I'm up at night worried about everything stupid. Thanks brain.The latest that I can't really ever seem to 'solve' is how do you get a very young kiddo down a fire ladder? They don't seem particularly "sturdy" so using ONE hand to get down a ladder and the other to hold a wriggling kid / baby / infant while tensions are HIGH sounds particularly dangerous.Wanted to group brainstorm and see if anyone had a solution that I hadn't thought of.
