My daughter (23mo) has never been a good sleeper and I’m at the end of my rope

Hi all,I’ve thought about coming for advice for some time but I guess I wasn’t at rock bottom enough to ask for help. I’m at the point where I almost decided to hire a sleep specialist. So ever since my daughter was very small, she’s always fought napping of any kind. Even at her newborn stage she’d be awake for hours at a time, taking quick 10 minute cat naps and then waking up once more.Bedtime and naps have always been a disaster but have become increasingly worse over the past 3 months since we weaned her cold turkey from her pacifier.Even as I type this, I put her down for a nap when she was quite clearly showing signs of being tired and she’s been screaming for about an hour and this is the norm.Once she falls asleep, she’ll sleep for two hours before waking and crying for me. I’m lucky if she ever sleeps through the night, there are lots of night wakings and I am frustrated because I thought this was supposed to get easier with time. For the record, she is an active child and although I tend to be low energy, I do make efforts to make sure she goes outside and plays and I do my best to find ways to engage her.Any help would be much appreciated for this tired single mom.
