How normal is this?

I know this is sort of a weird question, but it's hard to know what's normal and what isn't. My son is 8 years old, very bright, very talkative, very friendly. But I've noticed him quite often saying things to me that he's directly lifted from TV shows he watches often. I can tell because it doesn't sound quite right, like he's copying the inflection and accent to a degree. He also gets stuck on certain words and keeps repeating them at random times. For example, we've been watching Dragon Ball Z and he is constantly saying "Kakarot" (Goku's Saiyan name) for no apparent reason other than maybe he likes the sound?
