My son, 10, stares at a screen nearly all day. I semi-regularly peek at all the devices he uses, check browser history, and you tube history. I recently took a look at his YouTube comments and saw some stuff I did not like. I showed my wife, and then I asked him about it.I told him for today, he will not have access to the internet, via iPad, computer, Xbox, nothing, and that we the parents will discuss proper consequences. She doesn’t think taking away the internet is a good idea. I wholeheartedly disagree.Anyone else experience something like this?I should add he’s highly-functioning autistic (aspergers) so he has a hard time empathizing for others. The internet also helps him to regulate himself, such as building things in Minecraft helps give his restless hands something to do and calms his mind. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Odnhg6
