Boy1 has been diagnosed with autism and ADHD, Boy2 has been checked out and has no special needs that have been detected. We, as well as his school, have started to notice he's withdrawing emotionally and not hitting language or reading milestones. His speech is still pretty garbled for a child his age. Twins tend to be a little slower on this anyways, but it's now become worrying. His brother, Boy1, requires so much time and effort, we're worried Boy2 is becoming resentful. He doesn't seem to be acting out (he's not disruptive) just withdrawing. He's also been angrier than usual. We're going to get him assessed again, as well as keep on our nightly reading and writing sessions, but has anybody else been in this boat where one twin requires so much more time and effort and as a result, it begins to affect the other twin?EDIT: Sisters in the house too, they are progressing as normal/above average. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/32uC90j
