I’m really at my wits end with this, I haven’t had my son (4 1/2 years old) diagnosed yet but I’m 100% sure he is severely ADHD.He is up at 6 am (at least) every single day, and he leaps out of bed to start a hellish day.He does the typical can’t sit still for more that 60 seconds at a time.He’s constantly bad, I mean without exaggeration.... minutes cannot go by without him yelling,breaking something,sprinting around the house,etc.Also he talks constantly, asking the same questions over and over even though you are answering him. So much so that you can’t even get a sentence out to other family members.His bad behavior seems just to be on a never ending constant loop.Doing the same things he gets into trouble for minutes after doing them.If you tell/yell at him to stop.... it’s like he with flat out ignores you or is so in his head he doesn’t hear you.Every single interaction with him is a battle or argument.He’s not a “tablet” kid.... nor does he eat very much sugar.So it’s not a matter of needing to expend energy.Sleeping is a whole other battle.He fights sleep like no other, which only makes it worse.He absolutely will not sleep through the night.If he’s in his room at night he will like clockwork, wake up and have to come into my room to sleep.Which is bad, because he tosses and turns and squirms all night long.I really don’t want to have to medicate him, but every day is just constant agony and is having to yell at him or tell him stop stop stop stop.Any advise on this??I’m really passed my breaking point, I just walk around like a zombie, just waiting for bedtime. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/35KyUUH
