Progress in my relationship with our toddler

A few months ago I wrote how my MIL's and my then 15-month-old daughter's bond was way stronger than hers and mine. How my baby would cry if I tried hugging her after work if MIL was in the room and would cling to her. Nice people of Reddit mainly gave me advice to put some distance between them and it worked!!!My daughter has been going to daycare 3 days a week and my MIL watches her Monday and Wednesday. No 2 consecutive days as per my husband's request. Now our baby hugs us, plays with us, and EVEN came into my arms in the presence of my MIL! She just seems to enjoy our company meanwhile before it was more like "I am going to whine because grandma isn't here".So thank you for your advice and to all (working) moms who go through this, there is hope. Just take action as soon as you see disturbing signs. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Jpky2t
