Need advice regarding 10 year old D who once again wants to quit an activity.

I am a single mom with a 10 yr old D and 11 yr old S. My daughter took gymnastics for 3 years and then said she wanted to quit and do cheerleading. So she did cheerleading for 3 years and said she wanted to quit and do Hip Hop. Both of these activities she seemed to love until, according to her, werent fun anymore. She loved the 1st year of hip hop and was all excited to start the second season. It's been almost 2 months into the new season and this morning she told me she doesnt want to do it anymore cause it's no longer fun. It's only 1 hour a week with 2 recitals a year. I pressed her because it just came out of the blue but she insists she doesnt want to go anymore. Finances are tough and honestly it would be helpful not to pay this monthly fee anymore. She said she wants to spend her last year of elementary having fun with school and friends and would find a school activity to do when she moves to middle school next year. I dont want her to keep giving up on things but I also dont want to make her do something she isnt enjoying.I feel like a crap mom if I keep letting her bail on stuff she made a commitment to but I would also feel like a crap mom if I make her do something that will make her miserable. Any advice? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/33SQ6FM
