My partner has inadvertently trained our 1.5 yr old to pee on command

First of all... I already have a suspicion that our son will be relatively easy to toilet train. For a while he's been interested in us going to the bathroom and he sits on the small potty. He's actually pooped and peed in it twice, but not for a couple of months. Now he just sits a while and gets off. But he does "tell" us if he's gone in his diaper.Anyway, about two weeks ago, we all 3 took a shower. My partner (his humor...) tells our son to pee in the shower, that's what boys do! And suddenly, our son pees. Partner cheers him on like he was not even surprised, but I was dumbfounded. I couldn't believe he could understand that request right off the bat, so I chalked it up to a coincidence.Yesterday, we all get in the shower again. For the first 10 min it was just me and our son. Then my partner comes in and does the same thing as before, encourages our son to pee in the shower. And he actually did it! He stood there, still and focused on his penis, and intentionally peed. Unmistakable. I've never thought a toddler could really do this without even being remotely toilet trained... via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/33PHBLK
