Just raise a good person

Some dingus was trying to shame me for not pushing my 3 year old to become a hard working man one day and not picking a future for him and making him work at it (he’s Fing 3!)My little human is going to grow up to do whatever he wants to do, he could be a scientist, he could be a hobo, parents only have so much control of their child’s life after they hit older teen years. the ONLY thing I want for my son is for him to be a good person because there are so few out there who are truly good, so what if he doesn’t do exactly what I want him to do in life? As long as he’s happy and good that’s all I can ask for. If I teach him to be good I would accomplish more than any parent could ask for. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/32IcZeP
