Anyone here deal with anger problems/hatefulness in a toddler? My son, just turned four, has had an attitude for a long time, but as he's aged it had turned more into outright anger. He gets upset as soon as something doesn't go how he wants and begins to yell, scream, cry, and what bothers me the most is he will tell us (mostly me) to shut up, go away, he doesn't like us, get away from him. It's mostly toward me, but if my wife tells him to stop then he turns on her too. I can't do anything about it, it seems. If I scold him, he gets more furious, if I spank him, he just breaks down crying, if I try to calm him down and talk to him softly, he will just run off. I don't know what to do. What's worse is that I feel like I'm walking on eggshells the entire time because as soon as I try anything that upsets him more my wife will then scold me in front of him for being mean. It's definitely driving a wedge between my wife and I. And it feels shitty, but I'm starting to not really like my son because he acts this way so often and easily. I think about just leaving for my own health. Anyone deal with this before? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/31tiL2A
