Daycare dilemma

I am having a dilemma with childcare. My son currently goes to an in home daycare. I love his caregivers but I feel very out of the loop with things happening at the daycare. I never know what he eats, what he does during the day, if he’s just watching tv all day. (There is a tv in the daycare room and it’s almost always on when I drop him off and husband says it’s on when he picks him up). He is with a very mixed age group of kids. His daycare was closed on Monday and Tuesday because his caregiver had been in the hospital and wasn’t feeling up to caring for the kids. I signed him up as a drop in at the daycare at the school I work at. I was worried about his behavior because we went to a Halloween party this past Saturday and he was pushing kids. I warned the school daycare about my concerns. He was with all toddlers at the school and they said he did great. He played with others, made a friend with another boy and said they had no problems with him pushing. I really love his in home daycare providers but I wonder if he would benefit from a more structured day with kids his own age. I will also be saving about 1000 dollars a year if I switch to the school because of the teacher discount. I’m not sure why I’m having such an internal struggle about this. And I know I don’t want to hurt the feelings of his current daycare providers. Any advice?? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/360AJgo
