We’ve been through a lot. Our daughter has faced issues since about 8 weeks gestation. We’ve battled low weight, a CPS investigation because of her low weight, many hospitalizations, kidney infections and UTIs, early intervention, speech therapy... but the hardest thing by far was my 2-year-old being taken for her open surgery on her kidney 10 minutes ago. She screamed “MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY” and eventually, we stopped hearing her. Every part of my body wanted to grab her, kiss her all over, and take her home. This is for the best because she needs to get better but it’s so damn hard. We’ll see her in about 3 hours. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2EvPgDY
