Going on my first vacation and my son isn't coming..I feel SO guilty!

I have never been on vacation in my life. Sure, camping trips in the summer at the campground or to someone's cabin at the lake but I've never gotten on a plane and gone somewhere warm to lay on a beach. My Mom, who lives in Florida, invited my boyfriend and I to come down for a week while my son will be with his father because he still has school. I leave next week and the guilt is starting to eat at me.
