TL; DR: is preschool important long-term in a child’s education? Or is it fine to start their education in Kindergarten? We have the option to start my 4yo in preschool this August for a monthly fee, or wait to start him in Kindergarten the following year, which is free.He was just accepted into a Montessori school with a waiting list. I’m so excited for him and us that he got into the school. But it is $700/mo and I am only working part time (self employed) and still have to stay home with my 1yo twins because we can’t afford daycare for them plus preschool for my 4yo.My husband thinks we should wait for him for enter Kindergarten for financial reasons, and I see his point. I think we can make it work financially although it will be tough...and I want him to start preschool because I just have this feeling that it will be more beneficial for him (education-wise and socially). What are your opinions on preschool?? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2JImmq2
