My husband and I are starting to be concerned but really don’t know if there anything to be done. My son is an otherwise very bright, happy, typically developing kid. A few months ago he started make weird slurping noises. Since then it has become increasingly frequent and in the last few weeks he’s started adding in other sounds before and after the slurp. It’s always the same pattern of sounds in a row and sometimes will be as frequent as 30 seconds-1 minute for awhile. He says he can’t stop doing it.
