Hello! We have a second little one on the way and want to get a second monitor as a result. We currently have an angel care video monitor. The video quality is great during the day, but awful at night. Unless it's positioned within 2 feet on my child, we can't see anything.. and that simply doesn't work for a toddler who sleeps in a big boy bed. We want to see the whole room. We recently bought a Summer infant panorama, but it has white noise static constantly, that only goes away if you turn the sound off entirely.. then you can hear if your child cries. And that just defeats the whole purpose. Plus despite claiming to work up to 800ft, it loses connection from just 20ft away in our home. So we've been doing a ton of research with little success. This is what we're looking for: -dedicated monitor (Ie. Does NOT use wifi/phones/apps). -pan/tilt so we can look around the room. -good quality night vision, so we can tell the difference between our child and his blankets from across the room. -good connectivity. -no constant white noiseWe've seen lots of good reviews for the infant optics dxr-8, but the only place we can find to buy that one in Canada is on Amazon and the reviews says that warranty isn't honoured in Canada. Please help, were at a bit of a loss! Given the technology that exists these days, we thought this would be easier.TIA via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2TduqmL
