Parents, what kind of work are your kids doing in first grade?

My kid is in a gifted program and they don't do spelling tests and that it's bothering me necessarily going into second grade not having any spelling tests seems odd...we are in florida via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2yHHZiv
