I am posting here to get ideas on what could be going on, so I can make suggestions to one of my daughter's many doctors. To recap:The first few months of my daughter's life she cried/screamed about 20 hours per day, which meant she slept four hours per day. Usually an hour at a time. She absolutely hated being held, didn't give a shit about the "5 S's", and hated her swing. She was gaining weight and growing so doctors weren't too concerned. From about 4-8 months she cried around 12 hours per day and slept great. She was switched to soy formula and put on antacids at this time.At 9 months at the insistence of her pediatrician she was taken off her antacid. No change in behavior or anything else was noticed.9-13 months was pretty great. Started solids and soy milk at 12 months, seemed to do fine. Was hitting milestones and started to say several words. Only cried a few hours a day.14-19 months, started regressing. Started waking up several times a night sobbing. No longer says any words. Doesn't want to eat, but will drink milk. (Eats maybe a few tablespoons of food per day.) Sleeps about 12 hours per day. Cries around 10 hours per day. Not whining, actual crying. She has to be held at all times. She refuses to walk with us when outside. Refuses to be in a shopping cart or stroller. Sometimes absolutely terrified of strangers, family members, or other kids. Sometimes wants to be friends with them. She has had a head CT, ultrasound of all her organs, multiple x-rays of her stomach. She has had multiple blood tests, urine tests, and stool tests. They all came back normal. (I know that's vague. I'm going to request the results so I can see exactly what was tested.) She had the initial interview with Early Intervention, she is behind on speech and gross motor skill. (I thought she moved around fine?)The strangest part is, my daughter will sob for ten hours a day about 4 days per week, and be happy for the most part the other 3 days. And in those 3 happy days there is no change in sleep, diet, or routine. Over the past several weeks the bad days are usually 6 out of every 7 days.Any ideas? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2l9b0PB
