It would seem with most things you can pick up 50 different books on the same topic and come to roughly 2 or 3 different root conclusions when you're done reading it all. But I'm hoping there's some content out there that the rest is mostly built off of.Is there a place we can start to understand which ethos may or may not be something we believe in and can build off of. Lot's of it is self evident, or personal, but certainly underneath it all, a lot of it isn't going to be substantially different and those are the areas which you make your choice.E.G. are you going to reward and punish, or just reward etc. Simple example. Do you try to prepare for failure, or allow them to fail etc.The collection of these ideas would fall under a few unified ethos I imagine, and while most of it would be woo from uncredentialed pseudo-hacks, some of it is going to be widely substantiated.I guess more concisely, what are a couple books we can read and research to start with that are different in their approach that we can read and research from?If we start going top down and grabbing each highly rated Amazon book they're all going to be watered down and not going to add much value. Thanks in advance for any helpful advice. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2ySXpAU
