We are planning my daughter’s birthday party. She is in kindergarten and turning six. She has 20 kids in her class; 8 boys and 12 girls. She wants to invite 11 of the 12 girls in her class and no boys. The 12th girl is bossy and none of the girls in the class play with her. Teachers have had to step in several times to tell 12 that other kids don’t have to follow her directions or play her games. She either plays by herself or with one other boy. We won’t hand out invitations at school but I’m worried the word will get around to the one girl not invited and further isolate her. I’m trying not to raise a mean girl, but I understand why my daughter doesn’t want to invite 12. Do I make my daughter invite the 12th girl? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2zavjCq
