Getting everything done/how to find a bottomless well of energy with a toddler?

My husband and I both work full-time and our 23-month-old is in daycare. We leave the house at 7:30 AM and get home at almost 6 PM. Getting home is an immediate rush to get dinner on the table and our son in bed by 7:30/8. We move like tornadoes through the house with laundry, clean-up, and food prep, and by 9 we're exhausted and need to sleep. We feel like we haven't gotten to recharge so we usually watch a show and go to bed. Every day is the same and we feel like we're not making any forward momentum and still not getting everything done.Parents of toddlers/babies (and not kids who can play unsupervised or entertain themselves): how do you 'do it all'? how do you summon energy when you're drained? do you have any hacks to get routine things done to make life easier? Please help. I feel like I'm on a hamster wheel and the prospect of having another kid (which is something we want) is daunting. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2y4exVg
