My son is getting out of control

I'm not entirely sure what to say. I just don't know how to navigate the situation I am in and need advice. My son is 6 years old and in 1st grade. His dad is currently deployed and won't return for a few more months. In Pre-K, my son was diagnosed with ADHD by 2 different doctors. He isn't on medication, I thought he was too young to be diagnosed personally. Lately he has been having behavior problems at school. He has been disruptive, not listening to the teacher or principal, running around, and today he got in trouble for punching another student "because he felt like it." He got suspended for one day last week because of his behavior. I have punished him, taken away his electronics, put him in time out, and have taken away all of his toys. For the past week when he comes home from school, we go for a walk, he does homework, and sits in his room until dinner. Then he eats, showers, brushes his teeth and goes to bed. He has no freedom. No fun. And he still can't behave himself at school. I'm not sure what to do. I have had him on the same routine, but lately he has been getting progressively worse. I'm hoping someone has been through this, or has some advice on what I could do. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2xOwHqD
