My long-term S.O. and I are discussing having a child, but we don't share a last name. We were trying to brainstorm some last name techniques.Neither of us want to change our last names, for various reasons, and we both agree that compound last names are clunky and do not scale well.I, half jokingly, proposed randomly giving any potential child one of our names, but the idea was shot down. I also proposed giving children a last name that was a portmanteau of both of our names, but the was shot down as well. Please help us find a good strategy for deciding a last name. Thanks for your help. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2xLuUVR
