My husband and I have 3 kids. 14f, 12f, 4m. He was a Marine for 8 years. Right now he teaches Texas History and coaches the 7th grade football team. His parenting style has always been discipline based. He had the kids on a STRICT regimen of diet and exercise. And parents in a follow orders and don't ask questions type style. It is his way, and I have never really questioned it.My oldest girl has gotten into trouble for bullying, she figures that since she is the smartest, the fastest, the strongest, and the best looking, she is the default leader. The problem came this holloween, my son wanted to dress as his favorite super hero Wonder Woman. He is small so I figure that it didn't matter. My husband lost his shit. He said no and took the costume back to the store. He said it was innapropriate. Our son was very sad about it. He knows better than to ask questions, but I know he had his heart set on it. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2zEMd9k
