Your baby might want to wrestle with you.

So, my boy is 11 months old and has 2 older siblings. He’s a very silly and mischievous little guy, and pretty good natured. The only issues I have with him is that he can be a bit rough...slapping me in the face, biting down while nursing then smiling when I shout, “Ouch!” , pulling hair, and other things. He thinks it’s all great fun. I’ve attributed this to the fact that he has two older siblings ages 3 and 4 so he’s been treated somewhat roughly as well (not being hurt, just being occasionally lightly pushed, pulled, grabbed in ways that many babies without preschool age siblings wouldn’t experience). Lately it’s also been difficult to get him to bed because he gets so hyper right before bed and acts crazy. Well tonight I just rolled with the punches and decided to wrestle with him. We got on the ground and we started “play fighting” over a toy. I’d grab his legs when he tried to go get it and I’d grab it from him. Then he’d grab it from me. Then I’d try to tug it out of his hands. He crawled all over me. We growled at each other. I’d wrap my arms around him and grab him and pretend I was eating him. He was giggling hysterically the whole time with the biggest smile plastered on his face. Loved it. He finally started to fuss after a while so I put him in his crib and he’s out.
