Yesterday, as I greeted my daughter and her dad at the door after work and school, my child says “hey mom! Look!” She holds up a Harry Potter mystery wand blind box.“I spent my allowance today”! She says.I said “oh that’s wonderful sweets I wonder whose wand you got!”My nearly 9 year old says to me:sucks teeth looks at dad and says: “dad, can you tell your wife she’s silly please.”“Haha why am I silly?”“Mom! I don’t like Harry Potter YOU like Harry Potter! I got it for you!”She spent her first allowance, on everyone in our house.
