Hello. My 7 year old son was recently diagnosed with ADHD. Only a couple weeks ago. I took him to doctors, a behavioral therapist and everything. They finally gave us this medication for it.I was so happy that he'll finally be calm and i don't have to worry about getting phone calls about him leaving his desk and misbehaving in school. The problem? He won't take it. Thursday. First, i tried hiding it in pudding and giving it to him before school. No luck though, he started chewing the pudding, (which is unusual, because he always swallows it whole). And found the pill. He spit it out.He kept trying to run, spitting it out, he wouldn't swallow it or anything. He'd cry because i'd threaten to call the doctor but still wouldn't take it. I wrestled with him for over an hour, begging and trying to hold him down so he would take it. My brother suggested holding his mouth shut and tilting his head back so he'd be forced to swallow it. But i didn't want to do that. Even after the bus came. I was forced to take him to school. (He took it that day, but not really. He faked it because i found the pill under his pillow.)Friday was no different. But he eventually did take it and had a good day at school. This morning though? Nope. He wouldn't take it. Same story. He fought, everything.I'm crying right now, i can't go through this every day. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2qo7y6w
