My kiddo, A (8 yrs), has a buddy, B (also 8), who sets my spidey senses off. I have had a couple of interactions with B that were unsettling. One time, I went to gather A from the park to come home, and B walked up to me, looked me dead in the eye, and in a very flat, measured tone, said "Why are you always ruining things for me? Just when I'm having fun." It was... not the typical exchange I have with my kid's friends. On another occasion, we were playing with a small animal. When it was B's turn to hold it, B started petting it and holding it more and more firmly until its eyes kind of bulged out, so I gently took it away saying "Whoa, sweetie, this is just a little guy." B looked very angry at me. Should I say anything to B's parents? Should I just limit and supervise interactions between A and B? Am I overthinking and just need to lay off the Mindhunter for a bit? Seriously looking for advice. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/32hVNwB
