Can you please tell me about a time your kid was a little shit? I’m really feeling like mine is the only one right now.

My daughter is normally an incredibly sweet kid. She’s extremely thoughtful and empathetic for her age (6) and even though she has her rough moments, I know I lucked out with getting such a naturally loving, kind, funny, loving kid.BUTLately she has been going through a phase where she is a real brat. I even took her to the doctor because it’s been a little worse than her normal cranky phases when she’s growing or not feeling well or something. The doctor assured me that her behaviors (as long as it’s just a phase) are completely normal and things that almost every kid does. The doctor literally said “You can be doing every single thing right, but sometimes.... kids are just assholes. All of them. Even mine went through the same thing. Ask any other parent and I promise you they have just as many stories as you do about times their kid was a brat. It happens.”So fellow parents of Reddit, I’d really appreciate it if you could hit me with tales of your kid being a real dick, even if they usually aren’t.
