4 year old doesn't understand about gravity

My just turned 4 year old seems to have a lot more problems than her peers understanding basics about balance and gravity. I signed her up for gymnastics about a year ago because she seemed to be falling a lot more than her similarly aged friends. I mean, we could be standing somewhere and she would just randomly fall? But also, when running with her friends, she would just fall more frequently than them (by a lot.) It does seem a bit better, but I still think she falls more frequently than her friends. When she's eating cereal her bowl is likely to fall on the floor. If I ask her to take her plate to the sink, she will often hold it sideways and seem surprised that the crumbs or whatever left overs fall out. These aren't tantrums or purposeful at all, she looks rather surprised when these events (repeatedly) occur. She seems to be doing well in gymnastics - and is a fairly active kid, and loves to jump and climb. She hasn't had any delays that I've noticed and seems pretty advanced verbally - speaking 3 languages fluently - but it's just so strange to me, how often we end up with milk on the floor etc. Is this something I should be more concerned about? Setting up physical therapy or something? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2ptDRR7
