We have a 9 week old and a 2.5 year old. The 2.5 year old had been sleeping around 11-12 hours straight through until baby arrived; now she wakes up more than the newborn (6+ times a night). Most of the time she has kicked off the blankets and is crying for help to get them back on, but other times it’s for milk or non-existent “boo-boos”. The increased milk has caused her to pee through her night diaper a few times. I started this post wanting to ask for help on how to keep blankets on a kicking toddler, but after writing it out this sounds more like big-sister anxiety.
