As far as four year olds go, ours is pretty well behaved. However, we have to frequently scold or correct the same issue over and over because he doesn’t listen the first time. This morning he was annoying his 2 year old sister. I asked him to stop. He didn’t. I told him, again, to stop. He did, but several minutes later was back to annoying her.My SO came in the room to scold him. He told him that he shouldn’t be told multiple times to stop and that if he was going to act this way at home, he wasn’t going to go to (pre) school and act the same way (he behaves very well at school and has never had issues). I interjected and said punishing a child by not sending them to school is ridiculous. School isn’t a “for fun” activity like going to grandmas you can just forego. Now my SO is all pissy and told me “everything’s about what I want” and is accusing me of being selfish (???).Was i out of line? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2TAvb8V
