When babies can’t sleep well, many doctors and other parents say it’s colic or “that’s just how babies are.” If you’re baby is fed and clean and still cries non-stop, please at least consider that your baby has an allergy.I wish someone had told me this earlier as we could have saved months and months of torment for both us as parents and for our baby. After being told exactly the above my wife did further research and decided to give a turkey and pear diet a go (these are the two least allergenic foods) as she was solely breastfeeding at the time (what goes in her body would go into the baby’s body). A week or two after changing her own diet our child was completely different. No more endless hours of the 5 S’s trying to get her to sleep, instead it was normal child sleep. It felt like a miracle. After some trial and error we eventually learned the baby was allergic to dairy and (especially) soy. With those removed everything changed for the better. After 6+ years our child is still allergic to soy (nothing that sends him to the hospital thankfully) and can handle a little dairy each day. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2UkgyE1
