Our kid was in a battle of the books at school earlier this week and their team won it all. The mom who organized the tournament is clearly a little wounded her kid didn’t win (both mom and kid are not the most gracious in defeat, the kid locked herself in a bathroom at school after a loss).Organizing mom sent out an email to teachers, administration and parents today basically bagging on my kid’s team (saying they won because they had a great guessing strategy, even though they couldn’t even sit still) while bragging on her own kid’s team (so mature and the best team, but just had an unlucky time with the questions selected).My question to you all is: How annoyed can I be about this? My kid is happy and unaware that any of this is a thing. She can handle victory and defeat without being a snot. Should I just let it go?
