Dad and first time poster here so apologies if I have the wrong sub.My son is 2yrs old. Doing really well and very well behaved generally.The only problem we are having is if we take him somewhere and he's doing something he enjoys but it comes to the time to go he just looses it. Crying, saying no, screaming etc.It totally ruins the day and he ends up sulking for a good hour after.I've tried the comforting approach of sorry but we have to go I'm glad you've had fun but we have to do "X".I've tried being stern and telling him that's enough and he needs to stop or its the naughty step / bed when we get home.Nothing seems to work. I've tried multiple things and tried them consistently over a few weeks to give them a chance rather than switching from stern to comforting and confusing him.Other than this he is the most well behaved well mannered boy ever. Shares, says please and thank you for everything and is ahead in all his learning. Just this one point that I'm really struggling with.Anyone experience this? How did you get through it?
