My daughter just started middle school, and she’s a cool kid. She’s tall, beautiful, and just looks older than she is. She’s also just kinda cool. She plays guitar and is super likable and makes friends everywhere she goes. She’s gotten lots of attention from boys because of this.A 12 yr old boy from the place she takes electric guitar lessons likes her. He’s told her and they text frequently (I have access to her phone and nothing inappropriate). He’s invited her to a movie with his family after I meet his parents.I think this is early for real dates, but think this might be appropriate, especially since she’s been open and willing to talk about their feelings? Am I wrong? How do I approach this topic to keep communication open and healthy while still maintaining healthy boundaries and expectations? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2pfUPz1
