Help me out here- What things do your kids do that make you want to beat your head into the wall?

Tonight my son magically remembered the project he's had a week and a half to do and managed to forget for the entirety of that time until tonight. He's had 3 hours to work on it (it's pretty simple, he's got everything he needs to be able to do it too, and he's capable) and thus far has literally colored a picture- just a map of the state. I've been nagging majorly and I'm at this point just really irritated and he's upset because I'm upset and this is all spiraling. We're rapidly heading toward bedtime, and I'm of the opinion he's had long enough, he's not actually working on it really now, and he's not staying up all night to keep screwing around- bedtime is going to be enforced as normal tonight. He's going to fail this project. I'm ready to scream. He's perfectly capable of doing this. Instead, I need y'alls help- tell me about the crap your kids do that makes you lose your mind to make me feel better.PS- I flat out refuse to do this project for him. There's just no way I'm doing it. "Failing a project will make him feel bad"? Good, then feel bad, kid- you didn't do anything here, you SHOULD feel bad! He literally just needed to glue macaroni on a map of the state and he'd get a better grade than he'll get right now. This is absurd. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2pBCjkF
