How do I get my husband to look at us when we are talking to him? Phones :(

My husband always has his eyes on his phone. I have to say his name and wait until he’s looking at me and then I usually get an eye roll.He used to tell me that he could listen without looking, until the kids started doing it to him.The other night, our 3yo couldn’t sleep and was in our bed. He said “Daddy!” and went to give my husband a big hug. He said “Hi, buddy!” and smiled without pulling his eyes away from the phone or using his arms to hug him back.It’s so depressing.My husband says I treat him like a kid, but I swear to God he acts like a moody teenager about it. He rolls his eyes and snaps and goes back to what he was doing five seconds later.I’ll try to make conversation and he says “yes” or “uh huh” so quietly, and without even looking at me, that I don’t hear him at all.My older child just asked me to read him a book while he’s playing on his IPad at the same time.I hate these fucking tablets and smart phones.Has anyone had any luck with this crap?Thanks. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2QRtik8
