1) Teens are practically adults! You can't / shouldn't try to give them boundaries or rules because they won't listen anyway. They deserve complete privacy and autonomy.OR2) Teens are still children, their brains aren't even done developing until early 20s. Just because they look like adults on the outside doesn't mean they are mature enough to make important decisions.As a teen, I certainly leaned toward attitude #1.
