So their dad and I are divorced. The boys stayed with me up until last year because during the divorce, their father wanted them to go to the school in his neighborhood since it was better. I drove them to and from school and spent about 2 hours a day going back and forth. So, last year they stayed with him during the week so that they could catch the bus and I wouldn't have to drive as much.Right after the divorce we stayed with my grandmother and slept in the same room. They always had their own beds, but sometimes the youngest would get in bed with me during the middle of the night. We have our own place now and they had no problem sleeping in their own beds. Only occasionally, I would wake up with the youngest in my bed.Now that they stay at Dad's, they want to sleep with me almost every night. Sometimes, if I'm working at night (or even playing a game) my oldest wants to sleep on the floor by my desk on a bed made of pillows and fluffy comforters.I'm ok with it, but I want to know will they grow out of it? Is it hurting them? They able to fall asleep alone and in their own rooms (usually after chatting to each other for a little while) but they really want to sleep near me. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2K6nFdQ
