What do your evenings look like?

Just as it says...what's a typical night look like for you and your kids? When do you get home? What do your kids do before dinner? Do you cook or have leftovers/prepared food? What happens after dinner? Play time or does the night time routine start right off? Do your kids have a bath each night? What time are they ready for bed? What time do they GO to bed?My wife and I both work and have moderate commutes, so we don't usually get home (after picking our almost 3yo son up from daycare) until 6:15. We try to have dinner ready by 6:45 which means if we cook that starts right away. The boy sometimes plays on his own but more often is trying to monopolize attention while we're trying to cook.After dinner we allow some playtime until bath at 7:30. Bath, PJs, brush teeth and story take us to 8:15 or 8:30. Then one of us sits with him until he falls asleep which can take up to 9:30. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2fUFSkR
