What age did you child start wiping themselves when using the potty?

I am really just curious because my husband thinks my daughter can handle it herself and I always wipe her. She will be 2 and half in December. She has been fully daytime potty trained for almost 6 months with 0 accidents during 7am-7pm. She also is almost trained at night(gets up most the time to use the potty overnight). Anyways I always wipe her when she goes potty. I sometimes let her try to wipe pee but never poop. My husband never wipes her and makes her do it herself(but he hardly ever takes her to the potty usually it’s always me). Anyways should I let her do it herself more? Or keep wiping her myself. I don’t want her to get a rash and be clean but I know at some point she has to learn to do it herself. Also she usually goes to the potty by herself(doesn’t even tell me just runs to the potty takes her pants and underwear off and gets on the toilet and goes and then yells for me to wipe when done and then puts her underwear and pants back on herself and then I help her wash her hands). So it would be easier if she could wipe herself at least at night so I didn’t have to get up at 4am every night to help her wipe! So when did your kid wipe themselves??? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2yBXuIQ
