School wants to have meeting about 5 year old

Last year my 4 year old was in preschool and seemed to be doing fine. She has some dramatic tantrums at home and has certain triggers that set her off most of all (loud noises are her least favorite) but for the most part she seems like a "normal" child. At the end of preschool we had to set up parent teacher conference and figured I was just going to meet with her teacher like normal and discuss how she has progressed. Well when I got there I was at a table with 8 other people, teachers, supers, counselors, mental health people, etc. They wanted to discuss concerns over her behavior. They went over some things she had issues with and how she reacted and stated that next year we'll keep an eye on it and there will be assistants in the room to help teacher if she has issues. I was left a little shaken since I walked into that meeting blind and after having time to process it decided to not think too much into it.Well fast forward to 1 week ago. She's been in Kindergarten now for a month, each day she comes home with a day of the month colored in on a calendar that says if she was good. Every day she was on green, blue, or even rainbow (all good things). So I was telling her how since she was so good I would take her out for treats at the end of each week she had all good days. Well come to find out they want to have another meeting to go over her behavior issues (that she's still having). Part of me feels like they aren't really taking this very serious since I have not once gotten a note home, or even a color indicator in her behavior chart that would say she wasn't being good at school. I come from a small town and part of me thinks these people are just justifying their salaries by trying to label my kid with some kind of handicap. I'm wondering if anyone has been in similar situation and has advice or any thoughts. Thanks in advance. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2xfvB5m
