Our 2 year old woke up to a mild fever last night of 100-101 degrees. He's been sleeping alone for months but woke up at midnight and wanted to be held. Everytime I put him in bed he was afraid of butterflies in his bed and when we moved to lay down in the floor he was kicking around and scared of lions that were touching him. We don't have any stuffed animal butterflies or lions but we go to the zoo. Actually yesterday he did go to the zoo and a few weeks ago he got really scared when a butterfly landed on his shirt. Is this normal? A bad dream? My initial thoughts go to the fever raising the temperature in his brain and causing odd activity. For reference he usually says a ton of random things right before going to bed. Thanks for any help. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2xdYDai
