I have 2 boys, aged 1 and 2. My 14 month old wakes up around 6:00am most days. My almost 2-1/2 year old son wakes up at 4:30am, every day. I have tried everything I've ever heard about getting him to sleep longer, giving each a solid and consistent 2 week period to see if it helps. It doesn't. He has a nice full belly at bedtime and has absolutely no trouble going to sleep.Earlier bedtime? Nope. Later bedtime? Nope. Way more exercise and stimulation during the day? Nope. Shorter nap? Nope. Wake up clock? Nope. I set that damn wake up clock for 5am. Not too late. If he gets up before it I put him quietly right back in his bed and explain he has to wait for the light. When it turns on, we get super excited and say it's time to wake up now.I even tried taking the easy route and just letting him crawl into our bed when he gets up hoping he would sleep more. Nope. Neither does crawling into his bed with him and trying to get him to sleep more.I've checked all the sprinkler timers and even asked my neighbors if they have anything that starts at 4:30 that could be waking him. Nope.Today he got up at 3:54am. This is insane. He doesn't get enough sleep. Half the mornings he's whiny and tired and cranky, I'm at a loss here. I am unable to have any adult time with my husband (or even to myself!) while they sleeps because I have to go to bed immediately after I put the kids down to be able to function at all the next day. Half the time I am so exhausted I nap while they nap too.Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me? Daylight savings is coming soon and God help me if his internal clock doesn't adjust and it becomes 3:30am wake ups. I need help. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2kj2kpk
