Twelve-year old girls: are they usually unacceptably rude?

My daughter's friends never say please or thank you, one of them shushed me, and they don't speak when spoken to. Wtf? My kid is kinda ok with doing the right thing socially, is it her friends or the age she is? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2vfuF3r
