Just a friendly reminder: start the conversation about sex before your kid's 10th birthday.

My little one turns 10 this year, and based on what I've read, you should start the conversation before they hit double digits. They'll hear plenty from peers and outside your home. Better to hear it from a trustworthy source and prepare them. I just bought these two books based on some recommendations, to go along with the conversation we already started:It's So Amazing!: A Book about Eggs, Sperm, Birth, Babies, and Families (The Family Library)The Care and Keeping of You: The Body Book for Younger Girls, Revised EditionYou'll be surprised at how interested they'll be, and more importantly how good it will feel to teach them what's important and that you are a source of trust in their life. Cheers fellow parents. Soldier on. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2ukgHhK
