How TF to get formula off fabric ?

My partner, pit/lab mix, 3 month old daughter, and I have been moving around lately as we try to find an apartment. Recently got kicked out of partner's friend's place due to bullshit I won't rant about, and had to leave immediately. Called my mother to bring us to my cousin's house which is where we were staying before moving into said friend's place. I was in such a rush to get everything together, I packed my daughter's open can of formula into my backpack which I've been basically living out of, and figured it'd be the easiest thing to put it in, in case it was needed. With all the moving and shuffling of luggage, the can spilled in my backpack which is a thick polyester exterior with thin silk-like lining on the inside. I went outside after discovering it, and shook out the backpack as much as possible. I had a jean shorts and a faux denim baseball cap inside of it. I can't seem to get it all off, I can wash the shorts and backpack itself in the washing machine. But it'll ruin the hat.I hate formula because I usually spill a tiny bit on my bed, or carpet, or clothes and it's a pain in the ass to completely get off.Any suggestions on how to get formula off of fabric completely without ruining it? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2xpF37N
