The first time it happened (two weeks ago) he got a mosquito in his ear. The mosquito bit him but got out on his own. My kid (5 years old) was naturally scared and uncomfortable. It eventually led to an infection and we had to get antibiotics for him.Anyway, I told not to worry, that basically that would never happen again. I mean, I'm in my late 20's and I never had any bug inside my ear, no one in my family or friends had a bug in their ears... It sounds like those horror legends that don't actually happen.Point being, yesterday he had a bug fly right into his ear. This time was so much worse. The bug was a bitting on and although I couldn't identify it, it Bit him and sucked blood on several places before coming out. When I squishes it, there was tons of blood coming out. Yucky!Another trip to the doctor and my kid is fine, checking for sign of possible infection and whatnot but so far so good.My kid is completely afraid of going outside now. He also has a lot of trouble believing me when it comes to the "it shouldn't happen again."Any parent has experienced anything of the sort? The doctor is (so far) saying it's just really bad luck but is thinking of looking into his ear shape, ear canal and possibly smell of his ear of it happens. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2xJJ4TN
